Maria Chiara Dolce

Maria Chiara Dolce (1992), architect, she graduated cum laude from the DARCH at the University of Palermo with a thesis in architectural design entitled “Palermo 2030: the City of the Railway Loop. A Recycling Project for the Fiera Railway Station.” After three years of professional experience in architectural design at the Bellomonte & Pensabene architecture studio in Palermo, she is currently a PhD student in the XL cycle in Architecture. Theories and Design at Sapienza University of Rome. Her doctoral research, entitled “Toilet. A Queer Dimension”. In November, she presented her contribution “Migration. Riot Surface” at the Speakers’ Corner of the Corderie dell’Arsenale during the Venice Biennale.
