Bio

Sofia Hosszufalussy

Sofia Hosszufalussy (1995) is an Italian-Hungarian architect and textile artist based in Milan. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture-Built Environment-Interiors from Politecnico di Milano and a postgraduate Master in Textile Arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. She has collaborated with architectural firms including OMA/AMO (Rotterdam) and 51N4E (Brussels), and contributed to teaching activities at Politecnico di Milano, SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design, NABA Milan (workshop leader) and HTW Berlin (guest lecturer). In 2022, she founded SZOF, a project combining craftsmanship, design, and art through hand weaving and textile manipulation. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Architectural Urban Interior Design (AUID), 41st cycle (2025–2026), at Politecnico di Milano.
