Bio

Francesco Iuliano

Francesco Iuliano, architect and PhD candidate. He graduated in Architecture with honors from the University of Naples "Federico II”. In 2022, he received a research grant for the regeneration and efficiency improvement of public housing in Campania. Since then, he has carried out research activities on the reuse of the existing and collaborates in teaching architectural and urban design. His main research focuses on the retrofit of ordinary reinforced concrete buildings; topic also investigated as member of research team in two European Horizon-funded projects CALECHE and MULTICARE. He is the author of scientific publications. He has participated in the organization of exhibitions and design workshops and the editing of volumes. He is guest research fellow at ULB Bruxelles and TU Delft.
