Tamara Koneska
Tamara Koneska is a Research and Teaching Associate and PhD candidate at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Architecture. Her work examines how political power, ideology and collective memory are articulated through architectural form, with a focus on (post)Yugoslav architecture, investigating the evolving semantics of architectural and spatial palimpsests in transitional cities and the theoretical frameworks through which such conditions can be critically interpreted. She is engaged in the local architectural and urban design practice and has participated in international exhibitions, competitions and cultural programs, including the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Bienniale of Stage Design in Novi Sad and Salons of Architecture in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
