Cláudia Melo
Cláudia Melo is an architect at Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Torre de Belém monuments where is responsible for maintenance, follows public conservation and restoration projects and carries out small architectural interventions. She is a PhD student in Architecture at the University of Évora and holds a MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from University College London. Her thesis "Passive Downdraught Evaporative Cooling:Using Low Income Prototype and Traditional Chimney as case studies in Moura" was 3rd prize in the “Future Ideas Worldwide Academic Competition 2015". Her design project “Upcycle Coffin” was 1st national prize in the international competition “ClimateLaunchpad 2015”
