Participant Space Embodied Experience and Pneumatic Interventions in Cultural Public Spaces
Bio
Paula Vidal
Paula Vidal (1986, Spanish/Chilean) studied Architecture at U.S.P. CEU and Art History at U.A.M. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Assen, Madrid, South Chile, Venice, Berlin, and Salzburg. She has worked as an architect in Chile, Sierra Leone, Spain, and Germany, where she currently resides. Vidal creates pneumatic structures that generate dynamic, responsive spaces sensitive to visitors’ presence. Her work explores how architecture can shape emotional and spatial experiences, shifting perspectives and prompting reflection, allowing visitors to engage bodily and gain insights into social dynamics rather than presenting solely the artist’s point of view.
