Eyes of Epoché Suspended Vision and Discovered Space
Abstract
This essay traces a research process shaped through unplanned shifts, detours, and moments of trial and error. The research unfolded through architectural fiction, alongside theoretical and historical inquiry, image archiving, and experiments with visual apparatuses. Each attempt interacted with and influenced the others, collectively expanding the research in unforeseen ways. Within this non-linear development, it explores how vision structures architectural thinking and spatial production, while opening up alternative possibilities through the disruption and deferral of existing visual systems.
